Dan is Head of Big Data Practice & Professional Services APJ and is responsible for setting the GTM strategy and defining the Big Data service offerings and capabilities for Dell EMC across Asia Pacific & Japan. With revenues of $65billion+ in 2016 and 140,000 people worldwide, Dell EMC is a global leader in enabling businesses and service providers to transform their operations and deliver IT as a service. Fundamental to this transformation is big data, analytics and cloud computing. Through innovative solutions, products and services, Dell EMC accelerates the journey to big data analytics and cloud computing, helping IT departments store, manage, protect and analyze their most valuable asset—information—in a more agile, trusted and cost-efficient way.
As part of Dan’s role he is responsible for working with customers to help them identify where and how to start their big data journeys. Dan’s APJ Team team provides full end-to-end services around Big Data Analytics from consulting through to implementation services.
Dan has over 23 years of international experience in the IT industry working for many of the leading global investment banks in Europe and Asia as well as running his own global enterprise big data analytics business in Asia and Europe.
Dan holds a diploma in business and finance from La Swap in London graduating in 1995.
