Mr. Tran Ky Phuc is a PhD of Science and graduated from Kharkov University of Ukraine.
He holds a PhD degree from Moscow Energy University, a PhD degree in Science from Kharkov University, majoring in electrical engineering and non-destructive diagnostic methods.
Main fields of study: Electrical Engineering, Artificial Neural Networks, Monte Carlo Simulation, Artificial Intelligence.
Job positions: Deputy Head of Technical Network Department, Head of Department of Science, Technology & Environment at EVN.
He is currently Deputy Director General, Directorate of Energy, Ministry of Industry and Trade.
IoT and AI in Energy 4.0
Industrial Revolution 4.0, which is a revolution that has begun since the early 21st century and is spreading all over the world, is the high-level integration of digital-physical super connectivity system with the breakthrough of IoT and AI along with the development of a wide range of technologies such as robotics, self-propelled vehicles, 3D printing, nanotechnology, biotechnology, new materials, quantum computers, energy storage, renewable energy, etc.
Scientific discoveries and technological innovations that led to the industrial revolutions in a certain degree come from the energy industry. Energy 4.0, which is the digitalization in energy industry towards smart energy manufacturing and consumption, is a part of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
The presentation covers a number of issues related to the application of AI in energy system 4.0 and focuses on two main components: IoT and AI. A number of common and specific challenges for Vietnam as well as solutions are considered and proposed in this speech.
